Four Wheel Campers has been building lightweight pop-up truck campers in California since 1972, which makes it one of the oldest and most recognized names in the category. The whole design philosophy is low weight and low profile: an all-aluminum welded Flex-Frame, aluminum sidewalls and a one-piece roof, insulated and wrapped in a rugged pop-up tent that collapses for travel and pops up for camping. The payoff is a camper that protects your truck's payload, keeps the center of gravity low for off-road travel, and drops to a garageable, aerodynamic profile on the highway.
The lineup scales from bare to built. The Project M is a minimalist pop-up topper that bolts to the bed rails and turns any truck into a pop-up sleeping and gear space for a fraction of the slide-in price. The Fleet and Hawk are fully built slide-in campers with a kitchen, water, heat, and power, sized for mid-size and full-size trucks. Every model is hand built in Woodland, California, and recent updates have added premium Truma heat, lithium power, and Victron and Redarc electrical components across the range.
